Chiril Gaburici to pay visit to Poland

Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici will make a visit to Poland in May. The invitation made by his Polish counterpart Ewa Kopacz was transmitted to him by Poland’s Ambassador in Chisinau Artur Michalski in a meeting on April 8, IPN reports, quoting a communique of the Government.

“I and my team undertook the commitment to accelerate the reforms so that their effects are felt by the people as soon as possible,” said Chiril Gaburici. He referred to the major tasks of the Government such as doing the justice sector reform and ensuring economic growth and stability in the financial-banking system.

“We are open for foreign investments, but understand very well that we must do the planned structural reforms so as to make the business sector of Moldova attractive. We work intensely on this segment and the recommendations of the foreign partners are very important in this respect,” stated the Premier.

The sides referred also to the loan of €100,000 provided by the Government of Poland, which is intended for developing the agri-industrial sector of Moldova and which is to be distributed in the near future. Artur Michalski said that Poland is ready to increase its assistance in a number of areas of common interest, including in making progress on the path of European integration.
