Chinese company will import large amounts of Moldovan wine

The Golden Shore Company from China will import massive amounts of wine products from Moldova. This was the topic of discussion during the meeting between Prime Minister Vlad Filat and the company’s representatives, which was also attended by the director of Cricova Winery, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the government. Cricova director Victor Bodiul said that this year 1 million bottles of wine should be shipped to China. The first 200,000 will reach the destination in June. The contract between Cricova and The Golden Shore was signed in March this year. The Golden Shore president Gong Yi highlighted the commercial importance of this contract. It will be a good opportunity to promote Moldovan wines in China and get the Chinese people acquainted to Moldovan traditions and customs. A replica of the Cricova cellars will be built on the bank of Yangtza River in the Chongqing province. The cost of the project is estimated at $100 million, which will be invested by The Golden Shore. Gong Yi said that The Golden Shore planned to launch other businesses in Moldova including the construction of a recreational center. Prime Minister Vlad Filat encouraged The Golden Shore Company to find other sectors to invest in and said that there are many promising areas in our country.
