China’s Top Legislator to Visit Chisinau
The chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the People’s Representatives of China, Wu Bangguo, will pay official goodwill visits in four countries of Europe from May 17 to 30, including Moldova, according to Chinese news agency Xinhua.
The other 3 countries visited by the Chinese official are Romania, Greece and Russian Federation.
According to Chinese news agency, Wu was invited to Moldova by Parliament’s Speaker of Chisinau.
Sources from the parliament specified that the Chinese official will meet with the Speaker Marian Lupu, President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin and Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev.
Moldovan-Chinese bilateral relations are regulated by 35 agreements and treaties in force, being drafted other four cooperation agreements in different fields.
