China offers Moldova US$100,000 for alleviating consequences of late April snowfall

The Chinese authorities will allocate US$100,000 in assistance to Moldova for alleviating the consequences of the late April snowfall. In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lilian Darii on May 11 had a meeting with the charge d’affaires of the People’s Republic of China in Chisinau Guo Xeuli to discuss the issue, IPN reports.

The money will be provided as a grant and will come from the Red Cross Society of China for the Red Cross Society of Moldova. Additional details about the allocation of money will be discussed in the near future.

Lilian Darii and Guo Xeuli also conferred on bilateral agenda subjects, methods of stimulating political cooperation by high-level visits made by commercial-economic delegations and cooperation at multiple levels within international organizations.
