China interested in importing wines, cheese and oleaginous seeds from Moldova

China would like to promote Moldovan products of a high quality on its market, especially wines, cheese and oleaginous seeds, Chinese Deputy Minister of Agriculture Niu Dun said in a meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, Niu Dun pleaded for exchanging specialists and experience. Profiting from his visit to Chisinau, he invited the Moldovan wine companies to take part in the agiindustrial exhibition that will take place in China in autumn.

Vasile Bumacov underlined the importance of diversifying exports to China and of promoting Moldovan wines on the Chinese market. He said the Moldovan side is interested in learning from the experience of the Chinese partners in using renewable sources of energy.

The delegation of the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture will travel to Bardar village of Ialoveni district to see a complex of tomatoes and cucumbers hothouses. In Costesti village, the delegation will familiarize itself with the production of table grapes and technologies for keeping fruit and vegetables. Afterward, the delegation will be informed about the opportunities for developing rural tourism in Costesti.
