China hosts Moldovan specialists in multiple training programs

This year, 125 Moldovans will attend training courses on construction and management of free trade areas, traditional Chinese medicine practice and administration and marketing of wine in China. According to the Chinese ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Zhang Yinghong, with the help of this training platform, more talents will be unveiled and prepared for the economic and social development of Moldova. Additionally, bilateral relations will be strengthened, mutual understanding and friendship will deepen, which will provide a solid basis for the promotion of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, said the diplomat.

"This year marks the 70th anniversary of the proclamation of the People's Republic of China and 27 years since the establishment of Sino-Moldovan diplomatic relations. Throughout these 27 years, the relations between the two countries have always maintained a healthy and stable development, based on the principle of respect, equality and mutual benefits. Bilateral political trust has been steadily strengthened, exchanges at all levels have become increasingly tight, while the deepening of pragmatic cooperation and collaboration in international and multilateral affairs have boosted the development of the two states and have brought real benefits to the two peoples", said the Chinese ambassador during a reception.

Zhang Yinghong said that in recent years, China has been actively working in order to provide external training assistance. Until last year, more than 900 Moldovan students went to China for training courses covering all aspects of economy, agriculture, urban construction, healthcare and civil servant capacity improvement.

"I hope that everyone will use this opportunity to begin to pay more attention, to better understand China, to play an active role in the cooperation of the companies and departments of the two countries and to contribute to the development of friendship between our people and to build a much more prosperous Moldova", said the ambassador.

In his speech, Chang Hexi, the Training Center representative for Chinese Ministry of Commerce officials, said that China's foreign aid in the field of training and adherence to the concept of sharing knowledge for development and promoting common development, are focusing on strengthening the development potential and on promoting bilateral pragmatic cooperation.

Chang Hexi stressed that the Republic of Moldova is an important country within the "Belt and Road" initiative. This year, China will host three bilateral training programs for Moldova. "I wish all participants a pleasant experience in China. In 2020, China will continue to support the concept of community building with a common destiny and will engage in more interactions and dialogues with Moldova within the "Belt and Road" initiative. Today, I sincerely hope that we will continue to receive support from the Embassy, the government of Moldova, as well as each official, in order to collaborate in improving our training projects for the benefit of the two peoples, to contribute to the development of our countries and to promote pragmatic cooperation between the two countries", said the official. Chang Hexi is responsible for the implementation of foreign aid in the field of training in China.
