Children with Down syndrome of Miracol day center need help

The day center Miracol of ARIS-Down Association asks the economic entities and private individuals to provide assistance. As it is short of funds, the center risks being closed so that the children with Down syndrome will not have a rehabilitation place, Info-Prim Neo reports. Presently, the day center Miracol works only one day a week. It is permanently attended by 15 children and periodically by another 17 children. During nine years, the center has dealt with the education, rehabilitation, social integration, information and counseling of children with Down syndrome. The nationwide campaign to support the center includes the distribution of promotional calendars with such national pop music stars as Ian Raiburg, Tatiana Spanu, Natalia Boboc, Guta, and Mariana Mihaila, which cost 10 lei apiece. A number of 25,000 calendars in A3, 4+0, format will be distributed overall. They are available from the promoters of the campaign and the local post offices. A concert for children with Down syndrome involving Mariana Mihaila, Tatiana Spanu, Natalia Boboc and Guta was recently held in Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau as part of the social campaign “Bring Hope into Children's Eyes”. The concert included the most beautiful songs from singers' repertoires. The national pop music stars urged the public to support the campaign, buying by a calendar. The campaign to help the children with Down syndrome was organized by Image Partner in partnership with the national public broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova. The campaign is supported by Aqua unIQa. The project's partner is the medical center Magnific, while the legal partner – the business consultancy company Consult Group. The company FreeRent is the official carrier.
