The children whose parents or legal representatives groundlessly refuse vaccination will not be admitted to groups of children, but will have access to the educational process online. Also, the children who have temporary or permanent contraindications to vaccination will be allowed to attend the education institution based on a decision taken after the family doctor assesses the infection risks, the Ministry of Heal, Labor and Social Protection specified, being quoted by IPN.
If the vaccination follows an individual immunization plan, the parents or legal representatives will present a certificate from the family doctor to the educator or class teacher. If the child does not attend an institution during more than three days for reasons not related to health, a contact certificate from the family doctor will not be required. The parents or legal representatives will present an own responsibility statement showing that the child wasn’t sick and wasn’t in contact with persons confirmed with COVID-19.
If the child suffers from a respiratory infection, including from COVID-19, or has other signs of disease while being absent, the parents will take the child to the family doctor for examination and will obtain a certificate concerning recovery and permission to attend groups of children.
If the children are placed in quarantine for 14 days if they came in contact with a person confirmed with COVID-19 in the education institution, the contact certificate for readmission to the education institution will not be mandatory, except for cases when the child shows signs of infection in the period. A visit to the family doctor and a medical certificate will be thus required.
