Children taught to protect themselves from electrocution
The electric power supplier RED Union Fenosa is launching a media campaign on the safe use of electrical equipment intended for children and parents, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the company's Communication Department.
The company stresses that the electric power that makes our life brighter, more convenient and more interesting can cause problems and even tragedies when the protection rules are not observed. In order to avoid incidents, the company warns the people, especially children, not to touch electric cables, not to climb pillars that support electric power lines and trees that are near electrical installations, etc.
The media campaign includes radio adverts about how to protect oneself from electrocution and thematic articles in the print media. There will be held contests for children to familiarize them with energy security issues.
