The students of the “George Meniuc” Theoretic Lyceum from Chisinau will release today, October 13, 576 doves. The event is dedicated to the City Day of Chisinau, which celebrates 576 years from its first mentioning. Lyceum's Headmaster Nicolae Babuc told Info-Prim Neo that the institution organizes a cultural-artistic event with sketches, songs, dances and recitals. An exhibition of doves will be inaugurated, in partnership with the Moldovan Dove Breeders Association. The event will culmitate with the release of 576 doves. The church nearby will also hold a service. The cultural-artistic event starts at 9:30am.
