The children can send letters to Santa Claus in which to formulate their thoughts and wishes and to say what special present they want from Santa Claus this year as part of the winter campaign “Santa Claus’s Mail” that was recently launched by Moldova’s Post Office and the Foundation “Clipa Siderală”.
Tatiana Gangan, communicator of Moldova’s Post Office, has told IPN that both children and grownups from all over Moldova can take part in the campaign. The letters should be put in envelopes with the notice “For Santa Claus” and should also contain the sender’s address. Those interested can send such letters from any national post office without using stamps until January 16, 2023.
According to the communicator, the campaign is designed to promote the most important hero of the winter holidays, Santa Claus, and the winter holiday traditions in general.
As many as 8,200 letters addressed to Santa Claus were collected as part of the campaign “Santa Claus’s Mail” held in November-January last year.
