The children who remained without parental care and the orphans from residential institutions of Transnistria will be able to spend the vacation and holidays with families with permanent domicile in the region, IPN reports, with reference to the local press.

The host families will be chosen according to children’s wishes. The children will stay with these families for at most three months.

Before being allowed to care temporarily for a child deprived of parental care, the families will have their living conditions, personal qualities and motivations checked.

The children will not be able to go and live with families if there are suspicions that their health or life can be in danger or if their rights and interests protected by law are infringed.
