The Government approved a decision to provide the 1,400 first-fourth graders of private schools with free breakfast – a mug of milk and a roll – between classes. The breakfast for a child costs 6 lei. The necessary amount estimated at 1.1 million lei will be allocated from the state budget. Minister of Education Leonid Bujor said they are also considering the possibility of supplying the students from the fifth-ninth grades with breakfast.
