In connection with the International Children’s Day, the Ministry of Education on June 1 will stage a Children’s Town and a Recreational Park in the central park of Chisinau. All the children and parents are expected there to celebrate childhood, IPN reports.

Concerts involving artistic groups of the National Children’s and Youth Center “Artico”, dances ensembles from different education institutions and creation centers of Chisinau will be give between 10am and 2pm.

There will be staged fairs, a flashmob meeting, martial arts demonstrations, masterclasses on different themes, LEGO games, exhibitions and other events. Animated cartoons will be shown there. The children could take part in chess contests and performances with clowns.

June 1 is a nonworking day for budget-funded employees in Moldova. Instead, these will work on June 24, which falls on a Saturday.
