A child aged almost two years died in a serious care accident on the Chisinau-Leușeni highway, not far from Bursuc village of Nisporeni district, last night. The girl was travelling in a minibus together with her parents. The family was returning from Germany.

It is not yet known why the minibus skidded off the road and overturned. The child was projected out of the vehicle and didn’t survive.

Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the General Police Inspectorate Diana Fetco said there was a car seat in the minibus, but it weren’t fixed. It is not known where the child was when the accident occurred.

The girl’s parents are from Chisinau and were heading home. They were taken to the hospital.
