A child transported by ambulance and a doctor’s assistant were injured in a collision with a taxi, occurred at 23:30, at the crossing of Ciuflea and Bucuresti streets from the capital city. Ion Roscovanu, the inspector for the road circulation safety, administrative supervision and PR of the Chisinau Road Police told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance, a Volkswagen-Transporter, was hit by a Skoda-Octavia car, servicing 1407 Taxi Service. The doctor’s assistant, a woman aged 29, and the patient, 11, suffered head concussions and face bruises. The taxi’s passenger was also injured. An old lady, 78, was hit at the crossing of Alba Iulia and Caragiale streets by a car driven by a young man, 21. The woman was hospitalized with fractures and mental shock. Five persons were traumatized in an accident involving a minibus on route and a Honda-Civic car, occurred on Thursday noon at the crossing of Sfatul Tarii and Kogalniceanu str. Over the past 24 hours, Chisinau’s road inspectors registered 17 road accidents resulted in one casualty and 5 injured. 18 drunk driving were recorded as well.
