A tragedy struck a family living Chisinau’s Botanica district. A child aged one year and five months fell from the fifth floor of an apartment building situation on Decebal Blvd. The child could not be saved and died in the hospital. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that an ambulance was called at 11.40. The child was at home with his father, who allegedly fell asleep. Most probably, the boy climbed the window and leaned on the anti-mosquito net, which yielded. The child suffered multiple traumas and was in a terminal shock when the ambulance arrived. He was rushed to the Children’s Hospital “V. Ignatenco” and died shortly afterward in the reanimatology section. The doctors warn the parents to be careful and not to let the windows open in the presence of the children. According to Anatol Proca, there were two similar cases last year. A child aged two and another one of two years and a half fell from height and died.
