A seven-year-old child was found dead, while his mother was unconscious. It happened in a family in Nisporeni, IPN reports.

Press officer of the Nisporeni Police Inspectorate Cristina Vicol said a man informed the police that his ex-wife does not answer his phone calls. The police travelled to the house of the woman aged 45 and found her unconscious, with her veins cut. He son aged seven was dead and had signs of asphyxiation on the body.

The woman was admitted to the district hospital and is under intensive care. An investigation is under way.
