One child died and two were injured in road accidents occurred in Chisinau on Thursday, December 7. The inspector of the Road Traffic Security of Chisinau’s Road Police, Ion Roscovanu told Info-Prim Neo that two of these accidents happened around 8.00 when the children were on their way to school. A girl aged 8, a second grader of school No. 49, was hit by a KAMAZ truck on Muncesti highway 193. On the way to hospital the child died. About at the same hour, a boy aged 10 was hit by an automobile on Vadul lui Voda Street, being hospitalized with thorax and abdomen concussions. A second grader of “Nicolae Levitchi” lyceum was hit by a Mazda Carina car on Neculce Street 55, at 13.00, being hospitalized with multiple concussions. On the whole, 26 road accidents happened in Chisinau on Thursday. As a result one child died and another 6 persons were injured. 13 intoxicated drivers were found out by the road police.
