The residents of Chisinau and Balti will pay less for heat energy. The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) approved a charge of 2,774 lei/Gcal (without VAT) for heat energy supplied by Termoelectrica company, 493 lei down from 3,267 lei/Gcal (without VAT), IPN reports.

ANRE approved a 0.40 lei reduction in the charge for electricity supplied by this company, to 3.58 lei per kWh (without VAT).

Also, consumers will pay by 32% less for the heat energy supplied by Apa-Canal Chisinau – 3,081 lei / Gcal (without VAT). A charge that is 2.5 times lower was approved for the delivered addition water – 761 lei/m3, down from 1,902 lei/m3.

ANRE also approved a heat charge for CET-NORD consumers, of 3,215 lei/ Gcal (without VAT), by 346 lei lower. Electricity from this supplier will also cost less – 3.77 per kWh, down 0.89 lei from current price.
