The average price of carrots decreased during 14 -18 august with 4 % while the price of cucumbers and cabbage increased with 5% and 9,4 % respectively. According to an analysis of the Agro Inform National Federation, during the previous week the price for carrots decreased and is situated in the range of MDL 3,9 to MDL 3,6 per kg. The cheapest carrots on the internal market could be bought at Chisinau, at the price of MDL 3,1 per kg. The highest price of MDL 4,5 per kg was registered on the market from Balti city. During the analyzed period the price of cucumbers increased starting with MDL 3 and reaching MDL 3, 2 per kg. The average minimum price for cucumbers was registered in the market in Causeni, at the price of MDL 3, 4 per kg. In the third week of august a slight increase of cabbage prices was registered as well, starting with MDL 2,3 and reaching MDL 2,4 per kg. The minimum price average of MDL 1,9 lei was registered on the market from Edinet, and the maximum price at Causeni (MDL 3,1 per kg).
