Charity football tournament for terminal cancer patients
Angelus Moldova will organize on October 20 the 2nd edition of the Hospice Cup at football. The collected money will be spent to continue providing services of palliative care to children and adults with cancer in advanced and terminal stages, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to Angelus Moldova project coordinator Vadim Cotorobai, the Hospice Cup at football is designed as a system of 16 teams of 7 players on field. Teams will meet in each round and only the winners will progress.
Companies and organizations that want to participate in the competition with an official team are invited to make a €100 donation. The money will be used to continue palliative care services offered to child and adult patients with terminal cancer under Hospice care and to their families.
Participation requests can be submitted beginning on September 17 until the start of the tournament. “The sooner applications are submitted, the better for both organizers and participants”, communicated Vadim Cotorobai. Participation rules will be announced later on the organization’s webpage.
