Approximately 5,000 lei has been collected as a result of a charity concert given by Moldovan singers in support of the alternative service of therapy through riding “Gallop Moldova”. According to fundraiser Natalia Ghilascu, with this money three children with special needs will benefit from ten hypotherapeutic sessions, while the other children of the ten enrolled in the program will benefit from sessions with the money that will be yet collected and that remained from the previous campaigns, IPN reports.

Two of the ten children with special needs from Chisinau municipality, who enrolled in the therapy through riding program, reached very good results after only one month of the start of the hypotherapeutic sessions. The parents who look after these children plead more for alternative therapy programs, even if this type of service in Moldova is only developing.

“It would be wonderful if the authorities become involved to support this program. It is about sessions not of two months, but of one year, to maintain the continuous development of children with special needs. During a month, Vladut has changed a lot. Any result means a lot for us,” said Angela Caus, one of the beneficiaries of the program.
