The invoices and tickets for sanatorium treatment issued to entities through the National House of Social Insurance and the National Confederation of Trade Unions will be available on paper and in electronic form. Such changes were approved by the Cabinet to the regulations concerning public social insurance system benefits for preventing disease and restoring work capacity, IPN reports.
The entities are entitled to one or several tickets to health resorts if the sum calculated from the social insurance contributions (23%) covers the cost of tickets. In 2018 the average price of a ticket is 5,507 lei. The current period of up to five years during which an economic unit can apply for a ticket to spa based on the paid social insurance contributions was excluded.
In order to determine the periodicity of using treatment tickets, the socially insured persons that fulfill the conditions for obtaining a ticket in accordance with a number of regulations, will benefit from a ticket based on one document of their choice once in three calendar years.
The list of entities that have the right to tickets to sanatoriums in the course of 2018, based on state social insurance contributions transferred to the state social insurance budget in 2017, started to be applied on February 26.
Of the total of 55,600 entities that contribute to the state social insurance budget, 1,904 have the right to one or more tickets through the National Confederation of Trade Unions, while 1,980 through the National House of Social Insurance. 51,700 entities cannot request tickets because they do not cover the average price of a ticket by their contributions.
