Former Communist MP Mark Tkachuk and lawmakers Grigore Petrenco and Iurie Muntean were excluded from the executive of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (PCRM).The decision was taken in the June 7 close-door meeting of the party’s Central Committee. After the meeting, the leader of the PCRM Vladimir Voronin told the journalists that the three were excluded from the executive, not yet from the party, IPN reports.
Vladimir Voronin said that the three earlier submitted applications, asking being excluded from the executive of the Central Committee, but they examined them only now. Also, according to Voronin, the decision was taken because the MPs didn’t fulfill their obligations and because things in the party must be brought in order before the elections.
On a social networking site, Communist MP Alexandr Petkov wrote that Vladimir Voronin lied crassly because none of the three filed applications. The news agency Omega, which is owned by Alexand Petkov, said the decisions taken at the Central Committee are illegal as many of those attending didn’t vote in favor. The lawmakers who are against the politician and businessman Vlad Plahotniuc, who was earlier often criticized by the PCRM, were excluded from the party’s administration.
Publika TV said the three will be replaced by MPs Oleg Reidman, Artur Reshetnikov and Sergiu Stati.
