A woman who was at her relatives in Chisinau suffered an acute cardiovascular accident. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 51-year-old woman from Straseni came to visit her relatives. Suddenly, she lost her consciousness. An ambulance took her to the hospital. Another woman aged 59 fell suddenly on Florilor St. The ambulance doctors established she suffered a heart attack. She was rushed to Saint Trinity Hospital. A 60-year-old man was admitted to the hospital after sustaining a stroke on the street. These persons suffered accidents early in the morning. Eufalia Negreata said the oscillations of the atmospheric pressure affect the human body in different ways. The lower atmospheric pressure makes a larger volume of water remain in the body, while the higher one contributes to its elimination. The blood pressure raises when the air pressure oscillates suddenly. 90-99% of the acute cardiac diseases appear when there are significant variations in temperature. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulances traveled to 731 addresses, providing assistance in 66 causes of trauma, 56 cases of acute viral infection, five strokes, a heart attack and 24 deliveries.
