A chain-reaction road accident, involving three cars, occurred on Tuesday in Vadul lui Voda, causing injuries to one of the drivers. Chisinau Road Police Inspector Ion Roscovanu told Info-Prim Neo that the accident occurred at 13:30 at the crossroad of the Stefan cel Mare Street and 27 August Street in Vadul lui Voda town. A ZIL truck, driven by a 21-year old resident of Anenii-Noi raion, violently hit a Dacia-Logan car, driven by a young man of 23, from Criuleni and a Renault-Twingo, driven by a man, aged 68. As result of the car crash, the driver of the Dacia suffered serious injuries. He was hospitalised in the Chisinau Urgency Hospital with a head trauma. 25 accidents with no victims were registered in the past 24 hours in Chisinau. Road policemen discovered 12 persons driving while intoxicated.
