Ten, including two minors, were wounded Wednesday in traffic accidents in Chisinau. Chisinau Road Police Inspector Ion Roscovanu told Info-Prim Neo that a chain-reaction car accident, involving three vehicles and injuring three persons, occurred at 3 pm on the motorway Chisinau – Anenii-Noi, 700 meters from the entrance to Dobrogea village. The driver of a ZIL lorry broke the traffic rules and hit a BMW car and then a Fiat-Croma. The triple collision resulted in wounding 3 passengers of the cars. All three suffered mental shock. An 8-year old girl who had been struck by a Volkswagen-Passat suffered mental shock that required hospitalisation. Over the past 24 hours, there were recorded 4 traffic accidents with 10 injured and 23 accidents without victims. Police officers fined 23 for drunk-driving, 32 for not wearing seat belts, 108 for wrong-manoeuvring, 40 for ignoring the stop-light, and 41 for speeding.
