The first 250 tonnes of diesel fuel from the state reserve reached “Moldova’s Railways” (CFM). The diesel fuel was delivered by the Material Reserves Agency based on a Government order, IPN reports.

The state-owned enterprise "Moldova’s Railways" said that the diesel fuel will be used to transport goods and passengers, which will make it possible to "redirect financial resources to improve the situation, maintaining the priority commitment to employees – to clear salary arrears".

The implementation of measures to optimize expenses in all the managed areas continues and efforts are made to maintain the activity and continue the launched institutional reform so as to provide quality services for transporting passengers and goods, said the CFM.
