The Commission for Exceptional Situations (CES) on January 31 decided to extend until February 28 the permit for the Rybnitsa-based Moldovan Metallurgical Plant or Moldova Steel Works, IPN reports.
Under the CES decision, derogation is allowed from the law on the environment, the law on the protection of atmospheric air and the law on the regulation of entrepreneurial activity by authorization.
The Environment Agency during a workday will issue permissive documents to enable the plant to continue work. It goes to the air pollution permit and the environmental waste management permit.
Both of the permits are valid until February 28 this year.
