CES allocates money for alleviating consequences of April and July tempests

The localities affected by the natural calamities of this spring and summer will receive money from the Government’s intervention fund. The Commission for Exceptional Situations (CES) decided to allocate 7.8 million lei for the purpose, IPN reports.

The money will be distributed by the Ministry of Finance to mayor’s offices of Edineț district, the Soroca District Council, the Șoldănești mayor’s office and the Bugeac local council when the relevant documents are presented by the mentioned public authorities.

The decision provides that the given local public authorities are obliged to use the allocated funds by the end of the 2022 budgetary year and to submit reports on the use of money to the Ministry of Finance. If the transferred sums are used for the wrong purpose, the money will be returned to the state budget.

The Commission also adopted a decision on the registration by the Ministry of Finance of the public procurement contract for financial and legal audit services to determine the debts owed by SA “Moldovagaz” to SAP “Gazprom” and SRL “Factoring Finance”, for the amounts of gas supplied to consumers on the right bank of the Nistru River.

The Commission decreed that during the state of emergency, when exporting corn, except for corn seeds intended for sowing, the business entity will not be obliged to present an own responsibility statement to show who produced the exported corn to the Customs Service.
