For the legislative body to be dissolved there should exist certain circumstances and any activity related to the legislature must be legal, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said in reaction to Vladimir Voronin’s demand to dissolve Parliament and set the date of early parliamentary elections, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”The Communists act as in the way they understand the political activity should be performed, but they do not think about Moldova’s interests. Our task is to elect the head of state, implement the initiated reforms and fulfill the promises made to the people. The legislature can be dissolved only in certain circumstances. Any activity should be legal, while Communists’ demands are political and pursue certain goals,” Vlad Filat said after the meeting of the Council of the Alliance for European Integration on March 5. The same day, the chairman of the Communist Party Vladimir Voronin sent a letter to the administration, demanding that the legislative body should be dissolved as the ruling alliance usurped the state power. He made a similar request last yearend.
