In connection with sports competitions, the section of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd between Bănulescu-Bodoni and Pushkin streets will be inaccessible to vehicle traffic for two days, Saturday and Sunday until 07:00 p.m. On Sunday, there will be traffic restrictions on other streets in the capital city, IPN reports.

On Saturday, the tenth edition of the children’s running competition Kids Marathon 2024 will take place in the Great National Assembly Square. It is intended for participants between the ages of 5 and 13.

On Sunday, the tenth edition of the Fun Run 2024 running marathon for adults will be held. The section of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd between the streets Toma Ciorbă and Ciuflea and the section between Ciuflea St and Dacia Blvd (viaduct, towards downtown) will be closed to vehicle traffic.

The two events are organized by the sports club “Sporter”.

During the sports competitions, public transport will run on modified routes. Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
