The Central Market and also the Fowl Market situated on Cărbunarilor St in Chisinau will work according to the ordinary program, from 6am until 6pm, as from April 20.
Contacted by IPN for details, the acting director of the Central Market Ion Pîntea said that under the decision taken by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission on March 19, the market was to work according to the shortened program, until 3pm, by April 18. Respectively, the Central Market and the Fowl Market that are managed by the municipal enterprise return to the normal working program. Monday remains a nonworking day.
Ion Pîntea noted that they discussed with traders at the two markets and determined that the full program should be better applied so as to ensure the fluidization of visitors. The decision was taken by the responsible authorities.
On March 19, the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission decided that the agrifood and nonfood markets as from March 20 would work from 7am until 3pm.
