Vehicle traffic will not have access to the area around the Great National Assembly Square on the National Wine Day. The restrictions will be applied from October 4, 04:00 p.m., until Monday morning, IPN reports.
Drivers will not be able to use the section of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Boulevard between the streets Alexandr Pushkin and Maria Cebotari.
Traffic will also be suspended on Mitropolit Bănulescu-Bodoni Street, on the section between Columna and 31 August 1989. The area will be closed to units of transport from Saturday morning until Monday.
The public transport that crosses the city center will run on adjoining streets on the weekend.
The National Wine Day, now in its 23rd edition, will be celebrated on October 5 and 6.
