Drivers are urged to avoid the center of Chisinau on the weekend as parts of the streets there will be closed in connection with works on the sewerage system. The section of Stefan cel Mare Blvd. between the streets Ciuflea and Ismail will be closed between 6am on November 23 and 12pm on November 24, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the water supplier “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, the public transport – buses and minibuses - will run along modified routes in the period.

The motorists are asked to bypass downtown and to comply with the instructions of the patrolling inspectors, while the pedestrians are requested to obey the traffic rules and not to jaywalk.
