The routes of buses, trolleybuses and minibuses running in Chisinau during October 16 - 17 will be modified in connection with the Marathon that is staged by the sports club SPORTER. The central square of Chisinau (section between Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd- Al. Pushkin St- Mitropolit G. Bănulescu – Bodoni St) will be inaccessible to vehicle traffic from 1:30am on October 16 until 7pm on October 17.

The public transport crossing the area will be diverted to adjoining streets, IPN reports, quoting the Chisinau City Hall.

The itinerary of the modified trolleybus and minibus routes is available on the Chisinau City Hall’s website. The persons who go through the area by private transport are asked to obey the instructions of traffic enforcement agents.
