The mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban announced that the central block of Apă-Canal Chișinău was disconnected from the power supply, but there are all the command points there. For its part, Premier Energy said that it warned Apă-Canal Chișinău about the possible disconnection if no realistic solutions are identified for paying the debt for the consumed electricity, IPN reports.
“ÎCS Premier Energy” notified the water supplier of the fact that on February 2, 2023 it will have to resort to its legal right to disconnect installations that use electrical energy so as not to allow the debt to increase further. We note that the debt now totals 68.6 million lei and the sum includes expired bills that remained unpaid since November 2022,” runs a press release.
Premier Energy said both of the power consumption places that are to be disconnected today are in the administrative block of Apă-Canal Chișinău and the technological process of supplying water and heat and of providing sewerage services will not be affected.
