An outpatient center for people with disabilities and disorders on the autistic spectrum will operate in Chisinau, under a cooperation agreement between by the Chisinau City Hall and the SOS Autism NGO.

The center will be located in the municipal space located on 8 Nicolae Titulescu Street.

 “With this project, we aim to build a continuous and efficient partnership between the Chisinau public administration and civil society organizations, with the purpose of creating and sustainably developing inclusive social services for adults with disabilities in the municipality of Chisinau”, stated Mayor Ion Ceban.

The project is financed by the European Union. SOS Autism will repair the building, including by remodeling some of the rooms, will buy the necessary furniture and equipment, and provide support in the preparation of documents regulating the Center’s activity and its accreditation.

The project is part of the “Civil society organizations act for better social services” grant program and will run until April 30, 2023.
