The Central Election Commission initiates a complex mission to examine the financing of five parties and of the initiative group and election campaign of the independent candidate for President Victoria Furtună, IPN reports.

The five parties are: the Future of Moldova Party, the Renaissance Party, the Alternative and Salvation Force of Moldova Party, the Chance Party, the Victory Party.

According to CEC deputy chairman Pavel Postica, they will examine the legality of the financing of parties in July-October and whether the normative framework on the financing of political parties was observed or not.

The examination will be carried out at the CEC. All those concerned will make available to the members of the examination group all the necessary documents regarding the financing of the election campaign or the political party within 48 hours.

The report on the examination results is to be completed by March 31 next year at the latest.
