The Central Election Commission requested the Constitutional Court to validate the seat of MP of substitute candidate Said-Muhmat Amaev from the list of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists, IPN reports.
The seat of member of the BCS group remained vacant following the resignation tendered by MP Adrian Lebedinschi. Svetlana Popa was the next substitute candidate, but the Constitutional Court didn’t validate her seat.
Said-Muhmat Amaev, 64, is a lawyer by profession. He is an honorary citizen of Balti municipality.
