The Central Election Commission (CEC) agreed the size of the interest-free loan that will be provided by banks to contenders running in the June 14, 2015 local general elections, IPN reports.
Under the CEC decision, the independent candidates will be able to take out a loan of 5,000 lei, while the political parties, the sociopolitical organizations and electoral blocs – a loan of 25,000 lei each.
