The Central Election Commission on May 5 registered the electoral bloc “Renato Usatîi” that consists of Our Party and the Party “Patria” (“Homeland”). The bloc’s symbol is a white square with the words RENATO USATÎI written with capital letters inside it, IPN reports.

The CEC also approved the calendar program of actions for organizing and holding the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021. This stipulates the actions that will be taken for the purpose, the deadlines and those in charge of the actions according to the duties of the main subjects involved in the electoral process. This will be transmitted to parties, courts of law, central and local public authorities and the electoral bodies, after these are constituted, for information and implementation.

Under the calendar program, the electoral period for the snap parliamentary elections starts on May 5. In the same connection, there was approved a decision on the distribution of duties to the members of the Commission for the electoral period.

Also today, the CEC decided to assign seats of local councilors in five settlements of Moldova.
