The Central Election Commission (CEC) on August 5 accredited international observers to monitor the elections to the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia on behalf of the Council of the CIS Interparlianentrray Assembly, the Embassy of France and the Embassy of Belarus in Chisinau, IPN reports.

Also today, CEC decided to assign seats on the councils in Molovata Nouă village of Dubăsari district, in Edineț (district council), in Pașcani village of Hâncești district, in Costești village of Ialoveni district  and in Telenești district (district council).  

The elections to the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia will be held on September 19 this year.
