The Central Election Commission (CEC) in the July 2 meeting accredited 361 observers for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11. In total the CEC so far accredited 2,221 observers, 1,648 of whom are national observers, while 573 are international observers.
The observers accredited today represent the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Moldova, the Electoral Bloc “RENATO USATÎI”, “Promo-LEX” Association, the Embassy of Turkey in Moldova, the Central Election Commission of Georgia, the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations, the Embassy of Lithuania in Moldova, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, etc.
The deadline for submitting applications to accredit observers for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11 is July 3.
