The latest data presented by the Central Election Commission show that the turnout is the highest in Rezina constituency, where over 44% of the voters cast their ballots. The lowest voter turnout is in Cantemir constituency, of over 32% of the voters there, IPN reports.
CEC president Alina Russu said the voters in Pocrovca village of Donduseni district are the most active ones, with a turnover of over 75%. The lowest voter turnout was recorded in Caracusenii Vechi, Briceni, where only 19% of the voters marked their ballots.
Alina Russu noted that the general voter turnout at 4pm was over 45%.
