January 15 is the last day for parties to submit financial management reports for the second semester of last year. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) informs about this and warns political parties that in case of failure to meet the deadline, the parties will be sanctioned, IPN reports.
According to the CEC, the report is submitted in electronic format through the "Financial Control" ISS. Parties receiving allocations from the state budget must submit the report not only to the Central Electoral Commission, but also to the Court of Accounts.
The report must be signed by the party's leader and treasurer, both of whom are responsible for the correctness of the data and information submitted, as well as for failure to submit it.
The CEC warns that late submission of the party's financial management report is considered a violation of the law and is liable under the law.
