The Central Election Commission (CEC) postponed taking a decision about the Communist Reformist Party, which wants to run in the November 30 parliamentary elections, until November 12, which is the deadline by which the empowered judge must check how the Ministry of Justice implemented the Appeals Court’s decision to suspend the decision to register the party, IPN reports.
On November 4, the Chisinau Appeals Court ordered suspending the Ministry of Justice’s decision to register the Communist Reformist Party until a final decision is taken on this case, at the request of the Communist Party, which argued that the Communist Reformist Party uses a symbol that is similar to its symbol.
In another case, the court ruled that the CEC obeyed the procedure when it registered the Communist Reformist Party as an election runner.
