The Central Election Commission (CEC) on October 26 validated the seat of councilor on the Chisinau Municipal Council of Liviu Oboroc, who is a substitute candidate on the lists of the Democratic Party. This replaced Iurie Cazacu, who entered Parliament, IPN reports.

In the same meeting, the CEC confirmed a seat of councilor on the Town Council of Cricova, which forms part of Chisinau municipality, and a number of seats on village councils.
