CEC authorizes international observers for Gagauzia elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has authorized a number of international observers to monitor the election of the Governor (Bashkan) of the Gagauz Autonomy on December 12, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a press release, the CEC announced it accredited 5 observers representing the Council of Europe's Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, and 1 observers representing the Moldovan Office of the International Republican Institute.
Fiver other authorized observers represent the United States Embassy and another five the Turkish Embassy.
